Each growing season provides itself with new challenges and discoveries . The vines take a large amount of input by the grower like pruning, training, providing the vines with support to climb on, and protecting the grapes from predators like birds and insects. While doing some regular pruning this week, we have discovered a small nest within the vines growing beside our new flowering grape clusters. Outstanding Anniversary Vintage
On this past Saturday, we had the unique opportunity to see first-hand the creation of a new friendship. Two separate couples visited the estate with the same reason, to celebrate their anniversaries. Now, this happens quite often but what came out of their visit was a bit more uncommon. Beautiful day on the Estate
June 5th 2013 Earlier this week we had a group of three stop in form Belvidere, Illinois, a Husband, Wife and their daughter. It was a beautiful day, 72 degrees with a soft breeze just enough to massage your hair and keep the bugs at bay.
