Earlier this week we had a group of three stop in form Belvidere, Illinois, a Husband, Wife and their daughter. It was a beautiful day, 72 degrees with a soft breeze just enough to massage your hair and keep the bugs at bay. This group was at Staller Estate Winery to celebrate a life altering development, their daughter was just hired for her first full-time job after collage. She was hired a teacher. These parents were so proud of their daughter, I was not sure what was brighter, their smiles or the sun shining 40 degrees above the horizon. Mom and Dad ordered wine flights and the daughter ordered a chocolate flight paired with four wines. They also ordered a wine pairing platter with Coppa, 6-year aged cheddar, marcona almonds, dried fruit and our signature olive blend. They enjoyed this at a picnic table in the vineyard, shoulder to shoulder with the vines. The setting was perfect for a celebration! We hope that this was an Outstanding Memory to them!!
