For those of you that have not attended our Open House, it is a customer appreciation day of sorts. Every year we open up our facility for you to get to know us better, like a good neighbor, kind of like State Farm but we only insure that you will have a great time. We set up multiple tasting bars around the facility, one in the wine production area, one in the wine and cheese retail store and one in the Gazebo overlooking the vineyard. Each wine bar has different wines, a red wine bar, a white wine bar and a dessert wine bar. Each wine bar is also paired with Wisconsin cheeses for the wines. This setup forces you to see the different parts of our winery and try all of our Wisconsin wines. This set up also allows for plenty of room to spread out, set down and enjoy the wine pairing and the friends that are accompany you. This also gives you more time with Wendy and I since we usually man/woman a different wine pairing table. Every year we have new vintages of our Wisconsin wines and Wisconsin cheeses, as is true this year but we are also including wine sorbet this year. We are excited to have sorbet produced with with our Horizon Cuvee, we are calling it Horizon-Sorbet.
We also have live music playing by Nichole Kendall, an excellent solo artist with a magnificent talent.
This event is free of charge to attend and we also offer free wine tasting at the wine bars. As an added thank you, we are having a drawing for great prizes; tickets to Old World Wisconsin’s Mid Summer Magic, a private tasting for 15 people and a Wine and Dine for two.

We really enjoy this event, it allows Wendy and I to introduce new wine experiences and food experiences to all of you as a thank you for your support.
